The Chinsegut Hill Historic Site (called the Manor House), is located at 22495 Chinsegut Hill Road. Built in 1847, it is managed by the Tampa Bay History Center which offers guided tours open to the public on weekends. The Florida Emancipation Day celebration will begin here promptly at 10:00 am with the reading of the Emancipation Proclamation from the porch of the home, just as it was done in 1865.

The Chinsegut Hill Conference and Retreat Center, managed by the City of Brooksville, is an event space for rent, with seven 4-bedroom cottages that can house a total of 56 guests.

The FAMU Brooksville Agricultural and Environmental Research Station (BAERS) , located at 22271 Chinsegut Hill Road is part of the 3800 acre grant made by the US Department of Agriculture to the university in 2015.
